Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Barcelona’s Ciutat Vella district, Rincón Del Raval offers an authentic culinary journey that celebrates the rich flavors of Moroccan cuisine with a Mediterranean twist. Located on Carrer de Sant Pau, this cozy yet lively restaurant invites guests to immerse themselves in a sensory feast where fragrant spices, tender meats, and fresh seafood come alive on every plate.

The menu here is a testament to generous hospitality and bold taste. Diners rave about the hearty, aromatic dishes that range from succulent lamb and chicken stews to fresh fish and crisp vegetables, all served in portions so generous you’ll want to linger longer at the table. Popular favorites include their exquisite paella, which balances perfectly cooked rice with vibrant, fresh seafood, and the lentil dishes, praised for their creamy texture and deep, soulful flavor. The marketplace charm of Rincón Del Raval is further enriched by the irresistible fried fish—crispy, golden bites that melt effortlessly in your mouth—and the refreshing menta (mint) tea, which offers a soothing finish to any meal.

The atmosphere here mirrors the eclectic neighborhood itself—a place that might seem “bizarre” at first glance but warmly welcomes you inside with cleanliness and comfort. Whether you’re popping in for a morning bite or sharing a large, mixed casserole plate with friends later in the day, the setting is relaxed and unpretentious, making it an ideal spot for both locals and travelers seeking honest, flavorful food without the fuss. One guest described it as “the right place to eat every day in Barcelona,” a sentiment echoed by many who appreciate the exceptional value and genuine quality that defines Rincón Del Raval.

The spirit of generosity extends beyond the kitchen—this is a dining experience where you’re likely to be treated with extra portions and friendly service, making each visit feel like a homecoming. Whether you’re craving a soul-warming Moroccan classic or vibrant seafood freshly caught from the Mediterranean, Rincón Del Raval truly stands out as a culinary gem that brings a burst of color and flavor to Barcelona’s bustling food scene.

Already early in the morning, a wonderful selection of delicacies. Lamb, chicken, fish, vegetables - it's hard to choose. And the portions were more than plentiful.

The best food I eat in Barcelona. You can try a mix of foods they have in casseroles. Most of the dishes have seafood. The neighborhood seems bizarre but don't worry it's safe and the restaurant is clean. We took 3 big mixed plates that we shared between 4 people and it cost us 26 euros.

this is by far the best place I've eaten in Barcelona! Owner is so friendly and food was so delicious and fresh. The coffee was the best too. Best of all, all that food was for 9.5€. You can not use English here so have your Spanish prepared.
